The 4th annual Bike to Work Day Winnipeg was held on Friday, June 24, 2011.

There were many highlights from that year. Here are a few of them:

•  2679 cyclists registered for the event (1847 in 2010)
• 3497 cyclists counted riding to work on event day (1887 in 2010)
• 350 people attended the afterwork BBQ, with 300 free food giveaways
• 21 pit stops were set up around the city to greet riders on their way to work (4 in 2010)
• over 50 prizes were given away, including $750 from Natural Cycle for a bike makeover
• 550 muffins and donuts and 500 cups of coffee were distributed in the morning
• 400 Bike to Work Day t-shirts were given away
• Financial contributions were $31200
• In kind donations were $18303.36
• 350 cyclists made use of the free bike valet at the forks
• Over 100 volunteers participated in the event by running pit stops, counting cyclists, serving food etc.
