Presented by the Selkirk Ave BIZ and co-hosted by Bike Week Winnipeg, this event is for families and folks of all ages. Join us from 12-1pm for a fun filled afternoon of bike decorating and getting your bike tuned up and ready to roll by some of our volunteer mechanics.
As part of the Get Ready to Ride event there will be a Bike For the Future Ride presented by Bike Winnipeg. This will be an easy-peasy, no-drop 8 km ride leaving from Powers Park at 2pm, touring some of the better streets for riding your bike and then back to Powers Park.

Don’t miss out on the free refreshments after the group bike ride from a variety of Selkirk Ave BIZ members after the ride at 2pm!

The Bike for the Future ride series is intended to bring together people of all ages and abilities for a leisurely group ride where we celebrate some of the successful projects the City of Winnipeg has completed and to encourage them to do more to encourage active transportation in the city.
