Bike to Work Day – TUESDAY, June 10, 2025
Are you hosting a Pit Stop this year or interested in hosting one?
Here’s what to expect…
What you need to do at your Pit Stop:
- Welcome all cyclists, cheer them on, invite them to stop
- Document how many people have visited your pit stop (we would like this information!)
- Hand out prizes, snacks etc
- Be a friendly host, introduce yourself and have fun!
- Take pictures if you like, and send them to us or tweet!

Bike Week Winnipeg on Facebook and Instagram - At 9:00am please send your bike counts to info@bikeweekwinnipeg.com
- Drop off your banner at the Manitoba Public Insurance All Day Pit Stop at The Forks on Bike to Work Day between 9am – 2pm
What Bike Week Provides:
- Bike Week banner
- Promo materials
- Brochures
- Bike lube
What you need:
- Snacks, coffee etc. (your choice! You provide!)
- Mechanic and mechanical supplies – Bike Week has a limited number of mechanics available and they are being assigned to specific pit-stops. Bike Week will provide bike lube to every pit-stop and we ask that if possible the host provide a tire pump. If you do not have a use for the lube afterwards, you return it with your other pit-stop supplies.
- Pen
- “Ride and Go Seek” forms /brochures
- Prizes/handouts as needed
- Table/chairs as needed
- Supplies to hang signage (Please do not use clear packing tape on the banners)
- Directional signs (optional)
- Weight to hold down any pamphlets or papers at your Pit Stop

Ever year the winner of the Best Pit Stop will receive a Bike Week trophy to display for the year!
