DESCRIPTION:The Bike Dump is a volunteer-run community bicycle education space. They offer: \n\n\n\n\nTools and space to fix your bike The Bike Dump is a volunteer-run community bicycle education space. \n\n\n\nNote:  Temporarily not being offered at this time: A stock of recycled bike frames and parts from which to build yourself a bike\n\n\n\nVolunteers to help guide you through repairs\, or with a bike-building project\n\n\n\nRefurbished\, recycled bicycles for sale on a sliding scale\n\n\n\nBicycle repair workshops\n\n\n\n\nThe Bike Dump strives to: \n\n\n\n\nTo make cycling – and bicycle repair knowledge – accessible to everyone by working to reduce social\, knowledge\, and economic based barriers\n\n\n\nTo organize ourselves transparently\, democratically\, and non-hierarchically\n\n\n\nTo offer creative alternatives to auto dependency and its consequences (urban sprawl\, lack of exercise\, lack of community\, crappy t.v. commercials\, and so on)\n\n\n\n\nHours: \n\n\n\n\nSunday 1-4 pm (open holidays)\n\n\n\nTuesday 6-9 pm\n\n\n\nnote:  The Bike Dump is staffed by volunteers only. If two volunteers are not available on a Sunday or Tuesday\, unfortunately the shop will be closed without any advance notice.
