SUMMARY:The Wrench Thursday Open Shop
DESCRIPTION:Powered by our dedicated volunteers\, Thursday Open Shop serves the community by offering deeply affordable bike repairs\, reclaimed parts\, and basic refurbished bikes.  \n\n\n\nAll our Open Shop services and repairs follow a “suggested price” model. We appreciate customers who are able to chip in a bit more\, as it helps us provide repairs for those who cannot afford full prices!  \n\n\n\nOpen Shop is operated by appointment\, and is intended to serve as many people as possible in an orderly fashion. The Wrench reserves the right to limit the amount of repairs/parts/bikes depending on the day to ensure there is enough to go around. To book your slot\, simply choose your intended service. If you attend open shop without appointment (as a walk-up)\, we may not be able to guarantee you a repair. ​  \n\n\n\nJust need some time to work with a stand? Come by and utilize our outdoor bike stand (summer only) and toolset to fix your bike by donation. Each stand session is limited to about 30 minutes to accommodate as many people as possible.

Pedal together to Winnipeg’s lively monthly arts and cultural event\, First Fridays in the Exchange. \n\n\n\nAlong the way discover safe and friendly routes from different neighbourhoods across the city. This ride will boost your confidence and help you feel at ease biking around the city! \n\n\n\nThe route for June 7 will start at the pedestrian/cycling bridge over Abinojii Mikanah (Route 165) where it meets the east-west Awasisak Mēskanow (former Bishop Grandin Greenway bike path)\, and we’ll make a few stops along the way (locations TBC) on our way to the Exchange District.
