DESCRIPTION:Powered by our dedicated volunteers\, Thursday Open Shop serves the community by offering deeply affordable bike repairs\, reclaimed parts\, and basic refurbished bikes. All our Open Shop services and repairs follow a “suggested price” model. We appreciate customers who are able to chip in a bit more\, as it helps us provide repairs for those who cannot afford full prices!  \n\n\n\nOpen Shop is operated by appointment\, and is intended to serve as many people as possible in an orderly fashion. The Wrench reserves the right to limit the amount of repairs/parts/bikes depending on the day to ensure there is enough to go around. To book your slot\, simply choose your intended service from the options below. If you attend open shop without appointment (as a walk-up)\, we may not be able to guarantee you a repair. ​  \n\n\n\nJust need some time to work with a stand? Come by and utilize our outdoor bike stand (summer only) and toolset to fix your bike by donation. Each stand session is limited to about 30 minutes to accommodate as many people as possible.

If you are an experienced cyclist this is a great way to get involved in our efforts to get more people biking more often. Although this training is useful for anyone running group rides\, those attending are expected to volunteer to marshal with Bike Winnipeg at least twice this summer. There is no cost for this course. \n\n\n\nTraining will take place in Room 2 of the Sport Manitoba Building (145 Pacific @ Lily). Bikes can be locked in a secure bike room in the parkade. Ask for the key to the bike room at the security desk. \n\n\n\nPlease RVSP Mark (mark@bikewinnipeg.ca) to attend.  \n\n\n\nTraining is free\, but space is limited.
