DESCRIPTION:Bike Week Winnipeg invites everyone to join in the Better Biking Lunch and Learn Workshop. Facilitated by our very own Dave Elmore\, Chairperson of Bike Week Winnipeg\, long time bicycle commuter and CAN-Bike trained cycling educator. This workshop will go over how to make sure your bike is ready to ride and the basics of street riding. This workshop is designed to prepare participants to be bike ready all summer long! \n\n\n\nNote\, this takes place over the lunch hour\, please bring your lunch or pick up lunch from one of the many downtown establishments on your way to participate. \n\n\n\nFeel free to bring your bike or attend without. \n\n\n\nPrizes generously donated by Downtown Winnipeg BIZ and Manitoba Public Insurance.

SUMMARY:Ride Marshal Training w/ Bike Winnipeg
DESCRIPTION:Bike Winnipeg Ride Marshal Training helps create safer group rides for everyone! This workshop is offered for those interested in supporting medium to large groups of all ages and abilities. If you are an experienced cyclist this is a great way to get involved in our efforts to get more people biking more often. Although this training is useful for anyone running group rides\, those attending are expected to volunteer to marshal with Bike Winnipeg at least twice this summer. There is no cost for this course. \n\n\n\nTraining will take place in Room 2 of the Sport Manitoba Building (145 Pacific @ Lily). Bikes can be locked in a secure bike room in the parkade. Ask for the key to the bike room at the security desk. \n\n\n\nPlease RVSP Mark (mark@bikewinnipeg.ca) to attend.  \n\n\n\nTraining is free\, but space is limited.
