This is a relaxed ride that only goes as fast as our slowest rider. DESCRIPTION:Bezhig Miigwan\, One Feather \n\n\n\nA cycling experience in Winnipeg Treaty One to honour the Truth and Reconciliation. \n\n\n\nThis 2-hour ride will begin at the Residential Schools Monument at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and end at the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation at the University of Manitoba using bicycle routes and paths. The ride will allow participants to learn truth\, reflect on place and history\, ethically engage with land\, and consider the next actions toward Reconciliation. We ask participants to arrive with an open mind and curiosity to learn and grow.  \n\n\n\nAdrian Alphonso\, a Band and Community Member of Waywayseecappo First Nation\, is passionate about Indigenous perspective cycling programs and leads on Treaty One Territory land to honour truth and reconciliation. At Momenta\, Adrian delivers outdoor programs to inspire a connection to the land. SUMMARY:Bike Week Scavenger Hunt!
DESCRIPTION:***This scavenger hunt(June 12-14) must be started before 6pm*** \n\n\n\nYou can do this all in one go\, over multiple days\, with a group of friends or individually – whatever works best for you.  However\, all participants will be entered into the draw as solo participants. As long as you hand in your clue sheet to the staff at the final stop sometime between Wed-Sat\, you will be entered into that day’s draw. There will be one daily winner drawn from Wednesday to Friday and three winners drawn on Saturday. Please note that entries past open event times will not be guaranteed entry into the daily draw. \n\n\n\nFor the starting location: solve the magic eye posted to the Park Alleys Instagram Wednesday at noon. Go to that location during the open event times\, and the next clue will be on the wall somewhere inside. There will also be a stack of clue sheets – be sure to grab one and fill out the names of each stop before handing it in at the end.   \n\n\n\nThe day you hand in your clue sheet at the last stop is the day you will be entered in for a draw.  \n\n\n\nPlease take your time and enjoy interacting with the participating businesses throughout the course. There are a lot of treats to be enjoyed along the way\, so no need to rush. \n\n\n\nApproximate distance is 7-10 KM\, and can be accessed primarily through the cycling networks\, or on roads for more direct routes. \n\n\n\nYou will need: a phone and a pen\, access to Instagram\,  and we suggest a helmet\, lights\, water\, sunscreen and make sure to dress for the weather. \n\n\n\nHave fun! Safety first! Share the road and smile and wave! \n\n\n\nBike Week Scavenger Hunt \n\n\n\nCLUE: Magic-eye image \n\n\n\nMagic-eye (stereogram) image puzzle\, and hints to solve or “see” it. \n\n\n\nFIRST METHOD: Hold the center of the image on your phone right up to your nose. It should be blurry. Focus as though you are looking through the image into the distance. Very slowly move the image away from your face until the two squares above the image turn into three squares. If you see four squares\, move the image farther away from your face until you see three squares. If you see one or two squares\, start over! \n\n\n\nWhen you clearly see three squares\, hold the page still and the hidden image will magically appear. Once you perceive the hidden image and depth\, you can look around the entire 3D image. The longer you look\, the clearer the illusion becomes. The farther away you hold the page\, the deeper it becomes. Good Luck! \n\n\n\nSECOND METHOD: Raise your index finger and hold it in front of your face\, about as far away as you would have the magic eye image. Now\, look past your finger and focus on something beyond your finger. It helps if it’s something specific\, a picture on a wall or something like that. You will notice your index finger appears to duplicate in your vision. Now\, focus on your finger. You will notice the picture on the wall is duplicated in your vision. DESCRIPTION:Bike Winnipeg’s South West Local Bike Group in conjunction with the regular Wednesday Bourkevale Community Bike Ride will be hosting a family friendly ride leaving Bourkevale Community Centre (100 Ferry Road) at 7pm. \n\n\n\nUsing mostly protected bike lanes and multi-use paths we will make a stop at Uptown Lanes on Empress for a quick ice cream break (Uptown Lanes has indoor bike racks for our use)  before returning to Bourkevale Community Centre. Along the way we’ll chat about gaps in the network and upcoming projects that we are aware of. The ride should take approximately 2 hours with the ice cream stop.

DESCRIPTION:Come join Bike Winnipeg for the 2nd annual Kidical Mass ride. The ride will begin at Vimy Ridge Park (Preston and Canora in Wolseley) and end at the Bike Week Bash (south frounds of the legislature) where there will be music and activities for the whole family! We will meet at 11:00 am for some bike decorating and start to ride at 11:30. \n\n\n\nThe ride will be family and of course kid friendly and will move at whatever pace the kids set. SUMMARY:Bike Week Scavenger Hunt!
DESCRIPTION:Hunt must be completed by 5pm Saturday. \n\n\n\nYou can do this all in one go\, over multiple days\, with a group of friends or individually – whatever works best for you.  However\, all participants will be entered into the draw as solo participants. As long as you hand in your clue sheet to the staff at the final stop sometime between Wed-Sat\, you will be entered into that day’s draw. There will be one daily winner drawn from Wednesday to Friday and three winners drawn on Saturday. Please note that entries past open event times will not be guaranteed entry into the daily draw. \n\n\n\nFor the starting location: solve the magic eye posted to the Park Alleys Instagram Wednesday at noon. Go to that location during the open event times\, and the next clue will be on the wall somewhere inside. There will also be a stack of clue sheets – be sure to grab one and fill out the names of each stop before handing it in at the end.   \n\n\n\nThe day you hand in your clue sheet at the last stop is the day you will be entered in for a draw.  \n\n\n\nPlease take your time and enjoy interacting with the participating businesses throughout the course. There are a lot of treats to be enjoyed along the way\, so no need to rush. \n\n\n\nApproximate distance is 7-10 KM\, and can be accessed primarily through the cycling networks\, or on roads for more direct routes. \n\n\n\nYou will need: a phone and a pen\, access to Instagram\,  and we suggest a helmet\, lights\, water\, sunscreen and make sure to dress for the weather. \n\n\n\nHave fun! Safety first! Share the road and smile and wave! \n\n\n\nBike Week Scavenger Hunt \n\n\n\nCLUE: Magic-eye image \n\n\n\nMagic-eye (stereogram) image puzzle\, and hints to solve or “see” it. \n\n\n\nFIRST METHOD: Hold the center of the image on your phone right up to your nose. It should be blurry. Focus as though you are looking through the image into the distance. Very slowly move the image away from your face until the two squares above the image turn into three squares. If you see four squares\, move the image farther away from your face until you see three squares. If you see one or two squares\, start over! \n\n\n\nWhen you clearly see three squares\, hold the page still and the hidden image will magically appear. Once you perceive the hidden image and depth\, you can look around the entire 3D image. The longer you look\, the clearer the illusion becomes. The farther away you hold the page\, the deeper it becomes. Good Luck! \n\n\n\nSECOND METHOD: Raise your index finger and hold it in front of your face\, about as far away as you would have the magic eye image. Now\, look past your finger and focus on something beyond your finger. It helps if it’s something specific\, a picture on a wall or something like that. You will notice your index finger appears to duplicate in your vision. Now\, focus on your finger. You will notice the picture on the wall is duplicated in your vision.
